HiRes.Fix Tool

Hires.fix is a powerful tool that enhances image quality by adding details, increasing pixel saturation, and upscaling the original image's canvas size.

There are two methods for using Hires.fix.

1. Create a few images and apply Hires.fix later on the ones you like

2. Create images with Hires.fix to get better quality image in 1 step and save your beans.

This is a bit different than just upscaling the picture since it also uses the Model to resize the image. Here is what each setting on the Enhance Menu does:

• Upscale By: This multiplies the size of the image by the number you put here! You must change this number from zero if you want to use this. If you want your image to be the same size, use 1. If you want your image to be twice as big (which is recommended), use 2!

• Hires Steps: This is similar to the Steps in the generation settings! This is how many Steps the AI will take to generate your enhancement! Feel free to play with this as much as you like, even if you’re new.

• Denoising Strength: This is how much the AI will change your image from its original un-enhanced state. How much you want it to change can greatly depend on the situation. It’s definitely worth it to mess with this value to see what you get!

• Upscaler: This is similar to the sampling method used in generation settings. If you’re new, you should just stick with the default setting.
