## What Is Tavern Character Presets Feature?

The Tavern Character Presets feature allows you to build and save custom chat settings for your characters in advance. You can personalize how each character responds, tailoring their behavior and personality to fit your preferences. Once set up, you can easily switch between presets for any character with just a few clicks, giving you flexible control over their interactions.

**For character creators**, you can even share your recommended presets with your audience, enhancing their experience with your character

## Here’s how to access character presets on Moescape AI

**For Chat Users**

Step 1: Go to “Chat Settings”

Step 2: Click on “Presets”

Step 3: Select “+ Preset”

Step 4: Enter the details and edit the settings

Step 5: Click “Create New Preset”

Step 6: Select the preset and start using it in chat.<br>

**For Character Creator**

Step 1: Go to the Character Editor page

Step 2: Toggle “Advanced Settings.”

Step 3: Select from your existing presets

Step 3.1: Or create new presets specifically for your character.

Step 4: Click “Save”
